Tiffany, a server in Seattle, has made The Cheesecake Factory a special place for one special little girl from Alaska and her family. Due to her medical needs, the family has to frequently travel between Alaska and Seattle. Cheesecake has become a crucial part of the journey because Tiffany always brings out the smiles. On one particular visit, they were sat in a different section but Tiffany stopped by for a visit with the family. As Tiffany said goodbye, the parents handed her a note: “Dear Tiffany, You, my friend, have been an angel for us through our daughter's medical journey. Not only does she pick The Cheesecake Factory for the cheese pizza, fries, pickles, and lemons, but she always picks it because of you! You're somebody she looks forward to seeing. Your kindness and thoughtful conversation have helped her through a rough patch, and you're the only reason she was willing to try eating inside a restaurant after she got into her braces and wheelchair. Today, we didn't get to sit with you, and she was so sad because of it. She even hid under her chair cushion and wouldn't talk to anyone. When you stopped by our table, and she heard your voice, she lifted her head so fast, and I got to see my favorite million-dollar smile I sometimes go days without seeing. I will forever be grateful and remember the part you played during her medical journey. We will see you again!” Thank you, Tiffany, for embodying the spirit of cheesecake and making unforgettable memories for this incredible family. Your kindness truly makes a difference. #soCheesecake #lifeatcheesecake

It's a celebration two decades in the making! On this day in 2004, we opened our doors in Alpharetta, GA, and what a journey it's been. To commemorate this milestone, we asked some of our amazing staff who have been with us since opening day why they love working at The Cheesecake Factory. James, our very first hire, shared, "I love Cheesecake's endless commitment to providing a positive work environment." Ricardo expressed, "I like the work culture. There are opportunities for me to demonstrate my capabilities." Bernabe said, "The food, the culture, and the people. I've worked at this location since I came to the United States. Our annual Commitment to Excellence Award is given to 12 awe-inspiring individuals - one from each of our restaurant workgroups. Each winner brings so much Pride, Passion & Purpose to our restaurants that we truly can't imagine being as successful without them. Meet Luis, the Commitment To Excellence Award winner for the Steward work group! Luis’ greatest strength is his incredible ability to adapt to whatever comes his way. The mall was under construction for years, which impacted the loading dock and made receiving difficult. Luis patiently worked with the drivers to figure out the best delivery system, even if it looked different every day. During the pandemic, Luis became an expert at navigating shortages and finding alternate ways to get product. His restaurant almost never ran out of items for their guests. “He cares deeply about our product, mastering his role in food safety and making sure our guests get nothing but the best,” said his GM Jen Deyta. On top of everything, he managers to also have a positive influence on our culture – he can be found singing and dancing as he works.

16 years ago, Stephanie joined us as a Baker and it was clear from the start she was going to do big things. She was always a favorite of the staff, managers and as her career grew through Bartender - her regulars. Even as a manager, she keeps up those relationships while role modeling service mindedness to the rest of the staff and team. She has a great deal of knowledge from her years as a staff member and she has helped develop other managers on her journey. Stephanie truly loves The Cheesecake Factory and the definition of #soCheesecake. After graduating from MIT in December, we're so excited to share she is officially a Senior Manager! Big congrats to Stephanie! We're so excited to see you taking this next step. #promotion #lifeatcheesecake

Today marks one decade since we first opened our doors in the Bayou State. On this day in 2014, The Cheesecake Factory made its debut in Metairie, LA, and what an incredible journey it has been! From the very start, we've had an amazing team. Isis says, "Cheesecake has always challenged and pushed me to do better and be better! It's always a place to grow and learn something new from awesome people around the country." Rance and Buster share the sentiment, agreeing that "It's the people and the room for advancement" that make working here so special. Faun added, "Cheesecake's core values, the opportunity for growth, and the amazing people I have met on my journey with this company!" We're so fortunate to have Iris, Rance, Buster and Faun with us since the beginning, and we look forward to many more years of creating sweet memories together. Thank you, Metairie, for 10 incredible years! Here's to many more to come! #soCheesecake #anniversary #GPTW

Our annual Commitment to Excellence Award is given to 12 awe-inspiring individuals - one from each of our restaurant workgroups. Each winner brings so much Pride, Passion & Purpose to our restaurants that we truly can't imagine being as successful without them. Meet Karen, the Commitment To Excellence Award winner for the Operations Support Technician work group! Karen’s GM is convinced that Karen has cloned herself to cover all corners of her restaurant. “If there is ever a call-out or an unexpected peak in business, you will see Karen on the floor supporting in every role possible,” said GM Shannon Yeung. One day her shift had just ended when the restaurant lost Internet and all their systems were down. Karen immediately called IT and stayed an extra five hours until everything was back up and running. Every Mother’s Day, she makes personalized gifts for all the moms on the team, and during COVID, she sent handmade cards to every staff member to let them know they were thought of. “Karen is the unstoppable force behind our restaurant’s magic,” said Shannon.

It's a celebration 10 years in the making! On this day in 2014, our doors opened in Atlanta, Georgia at Lenox Square Mall. So much of the team has been with us since day one, so of course we had to ask them, "Why cheesecake?" Overwhelmingly we heard, "because of the people," but there were two responses in particular that really touched us. Jason said, "I love the environment and I love the people I've met and have grown with me through the years." Delsa said, "The Cheesecake Factory is my home and provides great benefits and security for my family." We're so lucky to have such a great group of people in Atlanta. Cheers to the next 10 years! #lifeatcheesecake #workanniversary
