Culture Gravy Think of your upcoming Thanksgiving dinner plate. The turkey, the mashed potatoes, the stuffing – yum! Now, imagine if your plate represented your company. Top 10 Thanksgiving Innovations of All Time: Call me crazy, but I’ve always been a big believer in fun as a key component to the successful pursuit of innovation. In the spirit of this belief and to celebrate this year’s Thanksgiving Holiday I thought I would ask OpenAI to make a list of the top ten Thanksgiving innovations of all time because I honestly have no idea what to put on such a list. So, in honor of the holiday, here is what it came up with: 1. Winter Foraging 🌿 The colder weather doesn't stop our chefs and gardeners from getting out in the orchard and on the surrounding shorelines to start the winter foraging. With many items being picked now to be preserved and used in an variety of ways come spring and summer, take a look at what we'll be on the hunt for in the coming weeks... 🍎 Mainly found in the areas where our family shoots take place, crab apples are perfect for cooking as the raw fruit can be quite tart. In the past, we have used the fruit to make purees for our savoury dishes, with the crab apples preserved in caramel pickle over the winter. Recently this puree has featured in our pork belly starter and porchetta sando, bringing a sweeter flavour to those saltier dishes. 🌊 From the shorelines, bladderwrack seaweed has many interesting culinary uses. It is a great seaweed to dry as it is quite leathery and produces a crispy result that can be powdered and used as a seasoning in risottos, stews and salads (or whatever else Head Chef, James, thinks it will work well with!) 🌳 In abundance on the hedges in the orchard as well as down towards the shore, rosehips are added to our homemade ketchups and are also perfect for syrups and jams. #foraging #locationshoot #foodandbeverageindustry

One of my favorite parts of what I do - taking #foodiephotos. This was taken with my #Nikon but with the #portrait feature on iPhones allowing for products and all the things, you can get great a #bokeh effect with it, too. My biggest tip? Use #naturallighting.

We were recently at one of our favorite restaurants in our neighborhood & I happened to see that fish tacos were a new menu item. 🐟🌮 (I love fish tacos. Anyone else?) 😋 I was pretty excited & I wasn't the only one who felt this way. I overheard another table talking to their server about the fish tacos, how much they loved them & how happy they were to see them on the menu. The server said, "I know, right? We already had all the ingredients because of everything else on the menu, so we thought, why not make these, too?" 🧑🍳 I love this so much because as leaders and business owners, we...accumulate a TON of ingredients.
