Congratulations to the BCW Healthcare team for being shortlisted for the Best Health Cause Campaign at the Purpose Awards across 2 categories: Collaboration & Public Health Sector 🩺 ‘Waiting to Live’ was a pro-bono campaign for the NHS Blood and Organ Transplant to shed the light on the need for paediatric organ donation by encouraging parents to register their child to the National Health Service (NHS) England’s organ registry. How did we do it? By putting a name, face and a story to each child on the organ donation waiting list. ⬇️ · Hundreds of volunteers handmade 233 dolls, one for each child on the organ donation list · They were then placed in NHS hospital waiting rooms across the UK. · Each doll had a QR code linked to ‘waitingtolive.org’, a microsite hosting the children’s stories and linking to the NHS organ registry We’re delighted to have been nominated in collaboration with our WPP Agency partners VML and Wavemaker. 🏆 WINNER: Best Use of Celebrity / Influencer 🏆 We are incredibly proud of the team who delivered the Quality Street campaign ‘Street (W)rappers’ campaign which won the ‘Best Use of Celebrity / Influencer’ at the Brand Film Awards. Quality Street launched environmentally friendly paper wrappers and needed a way to share the message with the British public. We brought the ‘street’ to Quality Street and the ‘rap’ to paper (w)rappers by producing a music video with a national icon and legend; England and Liverpool footballer, John Barnes.
