We’re making it easier for our partners (employees) to do what they do best: Craft delicious beverages, connect with customers, and deliver a familiar Starbucks Experience. The new Siren Craft System is an evolution of how we operate our stores – designed for partners, by partners – to help capture the customer demand we have by reducing wait times and celebrating the craft of our baristas each and every day. We’re already live in more than 1,160 U.S. stores – and are on track to scale nationally in the U.S. and in Canada by the end of July. This month, Starbucks and the Pride Network are celebrating Pride Month, centered on the theme, "LGBTQIA2+ Joy." With courage and joy, we recognize the diverse identities, intersectionality, perspectives and lived experiences of the LGBTQIA2+ community and stand in allyship. Meet Divine (she/her), a store manager and four-year partner (employee) who is also an ambassador for the Pride Network. "Pride month to me means being who you are, accepting who you are and being proud of who you are. It’s about love, acceptance, education, and celebration. Growing up I never knew or had anyone around that understood me or could be a voice for me to turn to. I want to be that voice for all LGBTQIA2+ partners but also a voice for all the bisexual partners out there, to be able to come and turn to when they are in need. This is a safe space and I want to grow this space and share it with as many people as possible." At Starbucks, we are at our best when we care for one another, celebrate our diverse life experiences and create welcoming environments where everyone belongs. #ToBeOurPartner #PrideMonth
