What drives (a) Fendt? 💡The excange with young decision-makers is important to us in order to increase understanding of agriculture and agricultural technology solutions. Yesterday, 15 young talents from local Schools visited us at our Marktoberdorf site. After a factory tour, where they got an overview of the production of our Fendt tractors, our Vice President Marketing, Fendt EME Roland Schmidt talked about the Fendt brand and alternative drives for tractors. 👨🌾The tenth graders had applied in advance for the hands-on policy seminar and came from all over Swabia, Bavaria. The aim of the seminar is to challenge and encourage the decision-makers of tomorrow. Some of them had already had their first contact with agriculture before their visit. Most of them were in contact with agricultural technology for the first time. 🗣 Whether they had previous knowledge of agriculture or not, all of them were aware of the farmers' protests about "agricultural diesel". Now they had the opportunity to find out what it's all about. Would a CO2 tax be part of the solution for more sustainable agriculture? And is diesel an obsolete model? The students put these and other questions to Roland Schmidt. 🔋He illustrated that the most challenges in farming are more complex and solutions need research time. By comparing the Fendt e100 V Vario (whose production is about to start) with the hydrogen-powered Fendt Helios and an HVO-ready tractor, he showed that there is not THE one alternative drive for all performance classes. The large annual community convention will celebrate both virtual and real agriculture. 📑 GIANTS Software, organiser of the FarmCon 24, published their diverse stage programme recently, which besides presentations of news and changes for the Farming Simulator game, also includes game shows, interactive panels and the finals of the Farming Simulator League World Championships. The annual agricultural fair Borgeby Fältdagar took place in Sweden on June 26th and 27th. According to the motto "Farming of the Future", Borgeby Fältdagar welcomed up to approximately 12,000 visitors from throughout Northern Europe. Besides exhibitors and experts, demonstration crops, seminars and practical demonstrations of machinery completed the offer. On display were the Fendt 211 Vario, Fendt 1050 Vario, Fendt 942 Vario and Fendt 724 Vario as well as Fendt harvesting technology like the Fendt Slicer 1010 KCB Pro, Fendt Ideal and Fendt Rotana 130F. Another highlight was the new Fendt 620 Vario. The agricultural fair was very successful thanks to the team. 💡Innovative AgriTech This week a delegation of Dutch startups, companies, research institutes and the Niederländische Landwirtschaftsministerium, visited us in Marktoberdorf. We are happy that we were one of their stops of their innovation mission in Bavaria. 🔧We talked about innovations and possible adjustments such as the tractor implement management (TIM) which is today used in farming everyday. Furthermore we gave a glimpse on our research of our H2 tractor Fendt Helios and our robot Xaver. 👥 It was an enriching visit we are looking forward to meet again at Agritecnica 2025. We are participating in the subsidised project with two Fendt Helios hydrogen tractors. 🔎Reducing CO2 emissions is one of the major tasks of the present and future. Fendt at Hort Connections 2024 in Melbourne!🌱 We are proud to have been part of the largest horticultural event in the Australian and New Zealand fresh produce industry! Great impressions from this year's Opolagra trade fair from June 7 to 9 in Kamień Śląski, Poland! 🌾 With 38,000 visitors and 300 exhibition spaces, the fair was a great success. Our dealer Chempest S.A. presented the latest Fendt innovations, including the Fendt IDEAL combine harvesters and the Fendt 600 Series, which was shown in Poland for the first time. A highlight of the afternoon was that our dealer Chempest invited potential customers to an exclusive presentation of the Fendt IDEAL combine harvester.
