ACT4CAP27 is a European research project aiming to enhance analytical capabilities, tools, and collaborative technical infrastructure for the quantitative assessment of the impacts of upcoming agri-food policies on the economic, social (including health), environmental, and climate sustainability of food systems. The project is directed towards providing continuous support for evidence-based EU agri-food policies post-2027, aligning with the objectives of the European Green Deal.
Project duration: 1 March 2024 – 28 February 2029
Funded by the European Union. Horizon Europe Grant Agreement No. 101134874. Views and opinions expressed are however those of the authors only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or the European Commission. How can the agricultural sector achieve global food security and meet climate goals?
Join us live for the launch of the 20th edition of the OECD-FAO #AgOutlook, with remarks from OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann and FAO Director-General, Qu Dongyu.
The report analyses trends in the demographic and economic drivers of agricultural commodity supply and demand, projects the shifts in production and consumption locations, and assesses the resulting changes in international agricultural trade patterns.
