    Building Machine Learning Teams

    Andrew Ng recently stated that 2024 is going to be the year of autonomous agents - do you want to shape the next area of innovation? A new client of mine, a pioneering San Fran-based tech start-up, is developing an AI Agent that interacts with the digital world to tackle mundane tasks and execute them. They already hold the record for the first AI flight booking, food order and workplace certification, with a plan to disrupt many more industries. They are also currently partnering with Amazon & Samsung Electronics to integrate this technology to power AI experiences along the whole range of hardware devices, and to improve Alexa's capabilities. The founding team includes a former Stanford Lecturer and MLEs with research and product development experience from places like Google, NVIDIA, Microsoft and Meta, having published papers at leading conferences including NeurIPS, ICLR, and CVPR. Currently backed by well known investors as well as by angel investors from the GTM and Research teams from OpenAI, Google and Stability AI, they are now looking to hire a Senior Machine Learning Engineer who will lead advancements in autonomous agent technologies, sitting at the intersection of research and implementation. Work will span from pioneering research in long-term memory, reliability, planning, and reasoning, to implementing cutting-edge ideas into production, ensuring these agents remain industry leaders. The right candidate will be motivated by using AI to craft a better, more efficient and more intuitive future for humanity; and will be deeply familiar with LLMs and Foundation Models such as GPT and Llama, having delved into the intricacies of fine-tuning and reinforcement learning. In return, you will be compensated with a competitive compensation and generous equity component. Location: San Fran, Hybrid, with Visa Sponsorship.
