In the UK, our team based in Wilson, Derbyshire co-hosted an open day with @Hutchinsons recently. The day was designed to showcase a trial highlighting different varieties of seeds and their strengths, different blends of varieties mixed together for good yield and disease resistance, sustainable farming options and some companion cropping. A large part of the day was dedicated to soil, with seminars on soil health and agroecology, soil mapping and a pit showing soil structure. Our experts were also on hand to showcase a comparison of winter wheat varieties showing treated and untreated and to deliver a talk on the different varieties.
