About The Role
The Director of College Marketing will lead the college marketing team in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote its programs, enhance its reputation, and drive student enrollment. This role involves strategic planning, brand management, and collaboration with various stakeholders to support the college’s mission and goals.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans that align with the college’s overall objectives and goals.
- Lead the creation of integrated marketing campaigns to attract and retain students, engage alumni, and enhance the college’s brand.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure marketing strategies support institutional priorities.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of the college’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and channels.
- Develop and implement brand guidelines to maintain a strong and cohesive brand presence.
- Monitor market trends and competitors to inform branding and positioning strategies.
- Lead the development and execution of digital marketing strategies, including website management, social media, email marketing, and online advertising.
- Oversee traditional marketing efforts such as print advertising, direct mail, events, and public relations.
- Ensure a multi-channel approach to marketing that effectively reaches target audiences.
- Oversee the creation of high-quality content that supports marketing campaigns, including brochures, videos, newsletters, and web content.
- Ensure all content aligns with the college’s brand voice and resonates with target audiences.
- Monitor and analyse enrollment trends to inform marketing strategies and improve recruitment efforts.
- Establish and track key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
- Analyse marketing data to derive insights and inform future strategies.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership on marketing performance and outcomes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
- Build a high-performing team by recruiting top talent and providing ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Promote collaboration and communication within the marketing team and across other departments.
- Develop partnerships with community organisations, alumni, and other stakeholders to support marketing initiatives.
- Represent the college at external events, conferences, and meetings to promote its programs and initiatives.
- Engage with faculty, staff, and students to gather insights and support for marketing activities.
- Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership position, preferably in higher education or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including CRM, marketing automation, and analytics.
- Exceptional data analysis and interpretation skills.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
