Worth The Hunt! We brought another round of awards home from the American Craft Spirits Association this week. Not only did we receive GOLD for our Colorado Straight Malt Whisky and Colorado Honey, we also took silver for our New American Gin and Rocky Mountain Vodka. Hound History🐾🥃 Throw back to Whisky Barrel No. 1. The fill date: February 22, 2013 (almost 11 years ago!!) The release date: August 2020. The deal: the Spirit Hound owners, their families, and other barrel owners gathered before the filling to celebrate and sign the barrel itself. No. 1 aged for 7 years before we decided it was ready for bottling; and along with 5 other barrels, it rode out the catastrophic floods of 2013 (submerged in water, no less). Cheers to a slice of Spirit Hound history! (and for the record, yes - there are still some bottles available for avid collectors.
