What is a CHRO? 🔸A CHRO is the executive leader of the HR department and sits on the C-suite with other leaders like the CEO and the CFO. The main responsibilities of a CHRO center around shaping and implementing an organization’s HR strategy and acting as a leader for the HR department. 🔸 CHRO is an umbrella term, and many different titles can fall within it, including VP of HR, Chief People Officer, and Director of HR. 🔸CHRO's Responsibilities: They’re typically responsible for many things you’d expect from an HR leader, like talent management, employee relations, and compensation and benefits. However, one key difference between CHROs and non-executive HR leaders is that CHROs have a more strategic focus, as well as more involvement and decision-making power in the C-suite. 🔸Specifically, a CHRO may: 1️⃣ Advise leadership on strategic HR practices. 2️⃣ Shape and drive an organization’s culture. 3️⃣ Develop employees to put them in the leadership pipeline. 4️⃣ Help facilitate and streamline communication between executives, managers, and employees. 5️⃣ Implement change management initiatives. ⭐Are you transitioning into CHRO roles?
