Another week, another amazing Snap event! We hosted our first ever Performance Summit in the UK and I had a lot of fun chatting with Will Wilkie from Oh Polly and Sophie Morgan-Short representing UGG about how they've built performance strategies on Snapchat. Some of the highlights below; 👻 Snapchat is the 2nd top performing channel in the digital media mix (!!) 🚀 Fospha has significantly improved reporting on ROAS and CAC and optimising performance cross-channel and, it has enabled Oh Polly to better optimise spend and scale into the US. 📣 7/0 optimisation has been a key product for UGG to boost last-click attribution performance. 🔁 CAPI and EQS has been key to improving signals which has helped with; campaign optimisation, targeting and reporting. #snapchat #performancestrategies #advertisingtips

🎉 Celebrating my first Snapversary 👻 Wow, it feels like just yesterday I met the international comms team in London on my first day at Snap. I was excited and nervous at the same time, wondering why I had left my comfort zone. Now I can say that I’m incredibly grateful for the wonderful experiences and SO happy to have taken this step. Over the past 12 months, I’ve learned so much and grown in ways I never imagined. 🚨 Snapchat APAC has scooped its first Cannes Lion award! 🦁 🏆 A silver Lion in Brand Experience & Activation for McDonald's "The Original Mouthful" campaign. DDB Group Australia came to us for a different type of advertising, something tactile and immersive. What we created together was one of those rare things that used complex tech* to deliver a simple idea - a fun social challenge that captivated people. As I reflect on another year at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, I’m reminded how much I enjoy catching up with clients and partners, and sharing Snapchat’s story. People are always amazed at how big our Snapchat community is and how, by design, Snapchat is a place where real friends and family come to deepen their relationships, enjoy their favourite Snap Stars, and have a lot of fun with our AR and AI innovations. We have a happy, engaged, growing community - the magic ingredient for driving real results. Just a few of my personal highlights from the week include seeing our new Less Likes More Love brand campaign - everywhere - especially the petit train and Snapcabs; clients and partners enjoying our Sport on Snapchat, Creators on Snapchat, and Music on Snapchat passion events; and of course, seeing the amazing Kellis and Honey Dijon perform at our packed Snapchat Beach event! Through our partnership with MyLifeMySay (MLMS) and Give An X, we helped register 1.64 million young voters, with 3,000 registrations every five minutes via Snapchat! With polling day fast approaching, we've launched an AR election filter and an interactive lens on Snapchat to encourage voting and provide essential information. The ‘selfie’ has always been in Snapchat’s DNA - and if you didn’t know already, yesterday was #InternationalPortraitDay To celebrate, Snapchat has joined forces with London’s National Portrait Gallery for a special AR-powered collaboration called ‘Post Your Portrait’. Working with the NPG, our brilliant AR Studio team curated an AR Lens which lets Snapchatters transform their selfies into iconic art styles, such as Cubism and Impressionism. Snapchatters can upload their selfies for display on the NPG’s main lobby wall as part of a special Snapchat feature which runs throughout this week until Sunday. NPG visitors can also try out the lens in our Snapchat AR photo booth just inside the entrance - and print them to keep! Through this partnership, which blends artistry with next generation technology, we hope to transform the way young people engage with arts and culture in 2024. So take a selfie and head to the NPG to see your own portrait! #InternationalPortraitDay
