Go behind the scenes of British film and television with our People Powered display 🎥 People Powered: Stories from Film and Screen is a free display featuring two partnership projects with young people and communities. The first display is all about Elstree Studios and aims to find new stories from those who worked behind the scenes and in front of the camera to create the shows and films we love in this renowned location. Elstree and Borehamwood's Film and TV studios has been home to famous actors, directors, and a legacy of British film and television hits – from Star Wars to The Crown. In addition to photographs from our Collection and work produced during workshops with students from Elstree Screen Arts Academy and the University of Hertfordshire, the display also includes contemporary portraiture by Marysa Dowling. People Powered is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Art Fund. ⭐ Located in our Studio Gallery on Floor –2. ⭐ Open until 31 July 2024.
