We’ve been around for a while (don’t ask our age 😜), but we’re just getting started. THE ICONIC has redefined the future of retail in Australia and New Zealand, and we plan to redefine the future a few more times, too. That’s where you come in, by helping us continue to grow the leading fashion, sports and lifestyle e-commerce destination in the region. Our team helps provide a seamless and inspiring experience, setting the standard for customer service, delivery options, return policies and curation of brands. Our purpose is to 'Create a better way for People to shop'. There are over 1000 ICONITES across our Hubs in Sydney CBD, Alexandria and South West Sydney (which hosts our HUGE Fulfilment Centre!). We are growing fast.... and always looking for great talent to join us!

    Yesterday was a proud day for THE ICONIC. As a foundation member for Seamless, Australia's clothing product stewardship scheme, we were honoured to take part in the event that saw Minister for Environment and Water, The Hon. Tanya Plibersek mark the official launch. Creating lasting and genuine change for a more sustainable future in our industry is every retailer and brand's business, and we are proud to stand by this ground-breaking initiative. Each year, over 200,000 tonnes of clothing waste end up in Australian landfill and to reduce this inconceivable statistic, we must work together in an effort to change the way Australians choose, enjoy and recycle clothing. A stewardship approach recognises that the brands who place clothes on the market, are responsible for the entire life of that garment, from design, through to re-use and recycling. From 1st July, Seamless members will contribute $0.04 for each new garment placed on the Australian market and $0.03 for each sustainably made garment, whilst continuing to implement circularity programs. We are truly honoured to be one of eight Foundation members of Seamless and to be part of making this critical change. Australians will have the choice to support the now 62 responsible clothing brands who have already signed on, and together work toward the mission of making Australian clothing circular by 2030. Seamless is for everyone and we urge our industry, and our customers, to join us on this incredible journey.     On Wednesday, THE ICONIC hosted our highly anticipated 2024 Partner Day, gathering over 100 of our valued brand, commercial, and agency partners for a day filled with strategic updates and insightful discussions. The event showcased our remarkable progress over the past 12 months, highlighting the momentum of our company and platform transformation, and how THE ICONIC has built an ecosystem of models and services spanning Operations, Marketing and Insights, all dedicated to helping our partners thrive across their entire business landscape. We also shared key business updates including impressive outcomes from partners adopting our Fulfilled by THE ICONIC (FBI) service, our ICONIC brand platform refresh, ‘Got You Looking’, advancements to our tech infrastructure and significant AI improvements such as Multimodal Search and Metadata Enhancements, as well as updates on our People & Planet Positive strategy, all of which generated significant interest and discussion among attendees. In addition, we also held an engaging panel discussion featuring influential leaders Kirsty Muddle from Dentsu Creative,Rey-Hanna Vakili from LTK, Anastasia Lloyd-wallis from Retail Doctor Group,Melanie Hoptman from LiveRamp,Larissa Brander from EssilorLuxottica and Joanna Robinson from THE ICONIC . Together, we explored strategies for 'Creating Connection in Today’s Attention Economy', leaving attendees with actionable insights to drive their businesses forward.     Last week, our Buying and Marketing team had a jam-packed schedule at Australian Fashion Week 2024. Here’s a wrap-up from our team on the ground: We soaked up the latest trends, watched our brands unveil their new collections, and felt inspired by the creativity on display on the runways.     Today is #FirstRespondersDay - a day that encourages retailers to show their appreciation to first responders by providing special offers to these individuals at all participating Australian retail stores. To show our appreciation, some of our team visited the City of Sydney Fire Station who put their lives at risk everyday to protect our community and we thanked each of them with an ICONIC gift voucher. We are very appreciative of you all that you do, and we thank all first responders!
