Today we held the AGCO Meet and Greet Goes Sustainable internal event. Staff members from Valtra Inc. and AGCO Suomi Oy explored the various projects and actions we are undertaking around sustainability. The sustainability theme of the event was 'Team up to Level up'. We heard how Valtra is involved in JAMK University of Applied Sciences Finnish Future Farm project with partners like Neste and AGCO Power Oy and heard from fascinating guest speakers Milla Välisalo of Lantmännen and farmer Tuomo Anttila of Yli- Tervalan Maatila. Valtra has been using Neste MY Renewable Diesel as our first fill fuel in our tractors made at our Suolahti factory since 2017. By using Neste MY Renewable Diesel we've prevented 15 000 tons of greenhouse gas from entering the atmosphere and demonstrated our tractors are fully compatible with renewable diesel. It is targeted for #growth-oriented #startups in the fields of #bioeconomy and #agritechnology.
