Job Summary
This position is responsible for the direction and management of the sales activities of the US Medical Sales team in assigned geography. Partners with senior leadership to develop annual sales plans in support of organizational strategy and objectives. Ensures sales team is well-trained, motivated and aligned with the Company’s sales strategies and objectives. Full P&L responsibility to operating line for assigned geography. Requires continuous observation and communication on the pulse and activities of the healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus.
The posted range for this position is $223,000 - $351,238 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for sales and profitability targets and budgeting.
- Develops and executes sales and marketing initiatives to ensure the success of established objectives. These initiatives to be broadly executed throughout each region in conjunction with marketing groups.
- Drives strategic and operational goals as mutually defined with HSM Leadership team.
- Oversight of staffing/hiring of all sales personnel, and performance management of all TSM’s.
- Identifies and develops talent, creating a bench of future leaders
- Conducts live customer meetings, maintaining executive presence for HSM to all key accounts defined/assigned by VP/GM Sales.
- Drives engagement, provides direction and communication on company initiatives and sales and marketing programs through sales meetings.
- Attend all major conventions in the Area as well as all corporate meetings.
- Maintains up to date knowledge of the pulse and activities of the healthcare industry
- Sales Leadership experience within the healthcare industry
- Ability to motivate by creating a shared purpose
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
