Trading Operations Specialist

Description: Being part of the Operations team, this candidate will directly assist the investment professionals at the firm with trade settlements, position reconciliation, and other corporate actions relating to trade management.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily reconciliations of positions, cash, and activity
• Address and resolve daily trade discrepancies in collaboration with the firm’s front office and executing brokers
• Manage mandatory and voluntary corporate actions on outstanding positions
• Communicate daily with the fund’s administrator to ensure timely trade confirmation and settlement
• Handle periodic events on current positions, such as options expirations, ABS resets, and coupon interest payments.

Qualifications:

• 3-6+ years of related experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred (Business, Accounting, or Finance)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of financial products/experiences with securities
• Excel proficiency preferred
• Knowledge of SQL & Python a plus!
