One of the nation’s leading and most forward-thinking building materials companies is looking to a Supply Chain Planning Manager to develop and implement effective Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) procedures.
The Supply Chain Planning Manager will lead cross-functional S&OP meetings with key stakeholders. The candidate will report directly into the VP of planning and will play a critical role in driving the company to achieve the exciting growth plans of the organization. The ideal candidate for this position will be experienced with S&OP, Cycle Counts, and must be an excellent communicator. The Supply Chain Planning Manager will have the following responsibilities:
Head up cross-functional Sales & Inventory Planning (S&OP) meetings to align crucial stakeholders on production plans, demand forecasts, and inventory targets.
Create and clarify inventory target, utilizing ABC patterns for prioritization, to increase operational efficiency, elevate service levels, and optimize working capital investments.
Record and report important S&OP metrics, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing measures to enhance overall supply chain performance.
Work with cross functional Supply Chain teams to address long-term critical supply constraints and ensure a close-knit S&OP approach.
Effectively communicate complex analysis and reports to key stakeholders, aiding the integration of S&OP insights into decision-making processes.
Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of various factors on the S&OP process, providing strategic recommendations.
The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:
Bachelor’s Degree
Proven experience in S&OP, inventory management, and demand forecasting
