Our client is looking for a Structural Engineer in Lincoln, Nebraska.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of structural engineering experience, particularly in foundational projects. A degree in Engineering is required. While a Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred, candidates with an Engineer in Training (EIT) designation will be considered if they possess the desired structural experience, specifically in concrete, steel, and residential projects. Experience in residential engineering is preferred, but commercial experience will also be considered. Candidates with extensive product experience in concrete and steel will be prioritized.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and execute structural engineering projects with a focus on foundational work
Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure project specifications are met
Provide technical expertise in the areas of concrete and steel structures
Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are understood and met
Qualifications:
5-7 years of structural engineering experience in the United States
Degree in Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; EITs with relevant experience will be considered
Extensive experience in concrete and steel structural projects
Residential project experience preferred; commercial experience considered
Excellent customer-facing skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English
