Overview

Join an innovative pharmaceutical client in a remote role that requires locality for potential onsite or hybrid work. We are seeking a skilled engineer to join the Package Development-MSAT team within the Global Manufacturing Science & Technology function.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical recommendations on various package systems and materials for pharmaceutical projects.
• Develop and oversee packaging studies, including testing protocols and qualifications.
• Serve as a technical liaison for multi-site projects, coordinating technical documentation and project planning.
• Identify and assess new packaging technologies to enhance cost, compliance, and quality.
• Lead process design activities, including equipment selection and instrumentation for robust processes.
• Support process design improvements and documentation, as well as validation studies.
  
  

Additional Activities

• Lead or supervise engineering studies and validation runs.
• Offer technical expertise in multiple areas and provide recommendations based on study results.
• Drive life-cycle design and industrialization of processes for Phase 3 and licensed products.
• Collaborate with engineering on industrial implementation and equipment testing.
• Provide technical support for process troubleshooting and health authority inspections.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in package engineering, chemical, or biochemical engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in Package development/Engineering or R&D, ideally in pharma or consumer goods.
• Proficiency in project management and technical writing.
• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools and technical packaging report writing.
