The Role:
As a Sales Training Manager you will be responsible for supporting our AMER Commercial Leadership Team in developing high-performing sales teams through the creation and delivery of relevant, innovative, and engaging learning resources.
Working as part of the Sales Enablement Team, you will play a key role in the ongoing development of a world-class enablement function, which supports Redgate’s subscription-first, global sales strategy and drives sales productivity.
You will help design, develop, and then locally manage the Redgate Sales Academy which will support and develop our sellers and managers, from onboarding through to progression, via competency-based learning pathways that lead to certifications. You will provide ongoing support to our AMER teams by identifying and addressing any emerging learning needs.
We operate from a flexible hybrid model, that supports a healthy work-life balance. For this role, we’re looking for candidates who live within a commutable distance of our Austin, TX office.

Your Work At Redgate Software
- In conjunction with the Sales Enablement Team, locally manage the end-to-end process for Sales training & certification, as part of the creation of the Redgate Sales Academy.
- Work closely with the wider Revenue Operations function and AMER Commercial Management Team, to drive adoption of standardized ways of working across the sales cycle, including CRM and other tools, regardless of region.
- Create and deliver interactive, relevant training sessions on a variety of topics that arise from identified skills gaps. In addition to work with managers and reps to help them embed the learning through live call shadowing, coaching, and training, which will have a direct impact on their core KPIs and overall sales productivity.
- Build partnerships with cross-functional SMEs and stakeholders to understand and prioritize knowledge and skill gaps.
- Work with the Sales Enablement Team to help develop and design training and educational material, including presentations and case studies.
- Translate SME’s knowledge and insights into relevant training or source 3 rd party training providers where required.
- Support, advise, coach and mentor sales team members on all aspects of their roles including sales methodology best practices and competitive information.
- Act in the best interests of Redgate Software Ltd at all times.
- Direct enterprise sales experience in B2b technology or similar sector
- Experience in working with all levels of sales teams and leadership
- Excellent presenter, listener and communicator
- Proven success delivering training in virtual and face to face environments
- Experience of creating engaging, concise and relevant training content across different learning formats.
- Track record of working collaboratively as a team player
- Proven ability to elicit requirements and run effective requirements gathering sessions
- Highly organized and skilled at managing multiple workstreams
- Results and outcomes focused: ability to identify and report on metrics for success
- Business acumen and ability to work with and influence members of other functions within the organisation
- Holds a growth mindset, always seeking to iterate and improve
- Experience of creating and managing resources in Lessonly and Seismic
- Firsthand experience with the commonly used tools in Redgate’s Commercial Division: SalesForce, Salesloft, Prolifiq, 6Sense.
- Familiarity with adult learning theory, training content design and B2B selling
- Experience with Strategic Selling and Conceptual Selling and/or other widely utilized sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC
- Base: $110,000 - 125,000
