Job Description: The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing and growing operations in their area to support a team of sales professionals that will pursue, acquire, and maintain key accounts in the large commercial and industrial markets. Leading by example, using industry knowledge and experience, they will have a profound impact on revenue growth and the team around them. This position will work closely with other managers, directors, and executives and will report to the person above them in the company organization chart, currently the Senior Director of Sales & Sales Operations.
Career Path: Successful Regional Sales Managers will be eligible for the upcoming Sales Director position and other open management and director positions within the company.
Job Responsibilities
Develops and maintains long-lasting relationships with clients in the region
Attend virtual and in-person meetings with the executive team to determine and discuss growth and strategy initiatives
Create, mentor, and advise a sales team on sales strategies in line with company policy and culture. Drive awareness to growth needed to meet targets, meet with internal managers and executives to generate new go-tomarket motions, and accelerate execution.
Coach pipeline discipline leading to healthy coverage and infuse the proper forecast rigor, accuracy, and accountability.
Instilling sales process discipline, adherence to standards, and excellence in execution while assisting team members maintain quality and accuracy.
Removes barriers that may cause roadblocks for team members to achieve their goals
Represent the Freedom brand through different media platforms, community, and business events
Identify clients risk tolerances and provide appropriate solutions
Manage call and activity lists and sales databases with information and expiration dates
Follow all procedures for pricing requests, enrolling customers, and internal documentation
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field or equivalent combination of sales experience and training.
Previous track record of success to include overachievement of quota
3-5 years of quota-carrying sales experience.
Experience selling a solution and not just a product.
Ability to prioritize time and efforts that directly lead to exceeding sales goals.
Outside sales experience in canvassing or field services
Strong customer service skills; history of dealing with clients in a business-to-business sales environment.
Ability to create and manage a pipeline of prospects to execute on sales strategy.
Expertise in developing and implementing strategic initiatives, goals, objectives, policies, procedures, work standards, and internal controls to achieve targets.
Possesses a strong project management, interpersonal, negotiation, communication, presentation, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Must have a valid driver's license and insurance, and be able to drive to and from clients
