Description for Quality Lead (aka Quality Manager):

You will manage quality for this smaller co. which makes first responder handsets and manage quality KPI’s, field actions, supplier/vendor reporting, and related corporate communications for US quality metrics.

Responsibilities for Quality Lead (aka Quality Manager):

• Own NCR investigations, field actions and communication with US & Japan Manufacturing and Warehouse Teams on quality issues, field actions, reporting and CI related activities
• Must be comfortable with cross functional responsibilities, reporting to the VP Engineering, and be able to read schematics and understand hardware interfaces
• Light travel to Long Beach CA, Irving TX (once a year to Japan)

Requirements for Quality Lead (aka Quality Manager):

• 5+ years in EE (hardware) background with roots in design/DFM/Quality/NCR or related
• Able to pivot often, and prioritize engineering actions with the warehouse/technical operations
• Ability to read and understand hardware schematics
• Excellent documentation practices and communication skills to work with US and Japan teams.
• Able to get through a technical, electronics hardware screening
• Experience with NCRs
• Experience with RF based products
• Experience with hardware interfaces
• Experience with wireless communication peripherals (such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, cellular communication, Zigbee, baseband or broadband etc.)
