The golf fans among us might have watched with interest when Rory McIlroy gave a press conference as he was gearing up to defend his Genesis Scottish Open title. We couldn’t help but notice the familiar insignia on the can to Rory’s right. We were delighted that one of our infinitely recyclable metal beverage cans – filled with Radnor Hills Spring Water – enjoyed 15 minutes in the spotlight with one of the world’s top golfers. Since then, Rory has gotten off to a strong start in the Scottish Open - we wish him all the best for a successful tournament. If you missed the press conference live, you can watch it below - and have a look at one very handsome can! #ArdaghMetalPackaging #AMPEurope #RadnorHills #metalrecyclesforever

Colleagues at our glass production facility in Obernkirchen, Germany were delighted to welcome Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action Robert Habeck and Lower Saxony’s Minister for Economics, Transport, Construction and Digitalisation Olaf Lies. The ministers saw our groundbreaking #NextGenFurnace in action as it produced low-carbon glass packaging with its state-of-the-art hybrid technology. We are delighted to support these ministers in shining a light - at the federal and local level - on the needs of the glass packaging industry. Ardagh supports Germany’s goal of becoming climate-neutral by 2045 and is actively driving forward the #decarbonisation of glass packaging production. #ArdaghGlassPackaging #AGPEurope #sustainablepackaging #sustainableglass #lowcarbonglass

You may have missed the live online event, but you don't have to miss out! Here's your chance to watch Joris Goossens discuss how our groundbreaking NextGen Furnace is helping Ardagh to minimise the environmental impact of the glass packaging manufacturing process, and why recycled content is an important part of this initiative. With the potential to reduce CO2 emissions by up to 69% per bottle, our #NextGenFurnace has already achieved a reduction of 64% per bottle - and we are aiming for more! #ArdaghGlassPackaging #AGPEurope #sustainablepackaging #sustainableglass #lowcarbonglass
Did you know that producing one glass bottle in a NextGen hybrid furnace reduces CO2 emissions by 69% compared to producing one glass bottle in conventional furnaces? 🤔 In the last episode of #90MinutesCGL, we heard an insightful case study from Joris Goossens, R&D Project Manager at Ardagh Group Glass Packaging-Europe. Joris oversees innovative technology projects aimed at reducing ecological impact and increasing recycled content in glass packaging manufacturing. 🎥 Watch the full episode with many more case studies here: 👉 https://lnkd.in/enCcVFQs #ClosetheGlassLoop #CircularEconomy #GlassPackaging #GlassRecycling #WasteManagement #Decarbonisation

What a firecracker of a bottle! We were delighted to welcome Michael Alter, John Pashia and Maureen McAlister of Fitz's to our production facility in Pevely, Missouri recently to show them where Fitz’s Root Beer bottles are made and what the fascinating glass production process looks like up close. Afterward, Michael told us how impressed he was with the support Fitz’s had received from our team around collaboration, customer service and overall company engagement. A big thank-you to Fitz’s for surprising us with an amazing gift – a very special bottle of delicious craft root beer for each member of the Pevely team – just in time for the big holiday! #ArdaghGlassPackaging #AGPNorthAmerica #MadeinUSA
