- Purchasing:
- Ordering Stocked Parts: Source and purchase necessary materials for production and maintenance
- Managing Purchase Orders: Create, track, and close purchase orders
- Coding to Assets/Jobs: Allocate costs to specific projects or assets
- Researching Aftermarket Alternatives: Explore cost-effective options beyond original suppliers
- Approving Invoices: Verify accuracy before payment
- Handling Returns and Credits: Manage product returns and associated financial adjustments
- Negotiating Price Breaks: Seek discounts for bulk orders
- Ordering Steel and Oil: Procure essential materials
- Inventory Management:
- Monitoring Stock Levels: Keep track of available items
- Considering Lead Time: Factor in delivery time when reordering
- Determining Stocking Levels: Balance supply and demand
- o Generating Inventory Reports:
- Shortages: Identify items with insufficient stock
- Usage History: Analyze consumption patterns
- Valuation: Assess inventory value
- Setting Low Stock Alerts: Ensure timely restocking
- Analytical Skills:
- Ability to analyze data, trends, and inventory reports
- Make informed decisions based on quantitative information
- Negotiation Skills:
- Negotiate with suppliers for favorable terms, pricing, and discounts
- Organizational Skills:
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and inventory
- Attention to Detail:
- Avoid errors in orders, invoices, and inventory counts
- Communication Skills:
- Collaborate with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders
- Clearly convey requirements and expectations
- Financial Acumen:
