Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Packaging and deploying of commercial and internal software to workstations across the enterprise
• Create Windows installer packages with transforms for customized installs, including removal packages
• Analyze, diagnose and resolve install issues with field and other groups using the installations
• Trouble shoot Windows and other system tools like SCCM to identify issues and resolve
• Manage monthly patching of entire workstation fleet for Windows OS and 3rd party apps
• Implement, administer, maintain systems and associated systems used in Policy and Patching administration
• Analyze, diagnose and resolve complex desktop end user problems and suggest corrective solutions.
• Maintain and develop new reporting for software installs
• Keep ahead of emerging trends, understand business area opportunities and challenges, process or system impacts to all related business or systems areas when implementing recommended solutions to achieve business objectives
• Collaborate effectively to build relationships with other departments across the organization.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Administration experience of Windows PC OS and Mac OS
• Comfortable performing in a process-oriented and change-controlled working atmosphere.
• Team player with the ability to communicate and present to non-technical audience.
• Solution-oriented, constructive approach to problem-solving.
• Proven organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Demonstrable experience working across multiple technical disciplines.
• Associate degree in a technical discipline or 3 years of related experience.

Core Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Intermediate to expert skill level with PowerShell
• Intermediate to expert skill level with SQL
• Intermediate to expert skill with SCCM
• Intermediate to expert skill with Intune
• Intermediate knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11
• Intermediate knowledge of the Windows registry, file and folder security, local/domain user security, and operating system troubleshooting
• Intermediate knowledge of Group Policy and how GPOs apply
• Strong knowledge of tools from Microsoft, Adobe and other vendors related to packaging
• Understanding of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, etc.
• Proficient in operating remote management tools
• Proficient in ITSM ticketing management

Desired Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):

• 3 years’ experience supporting Windows PC’s and Mac’s in a production environment
• Familiarity with BMC Helix is a plus.
• Familiarity with a Linux OS systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with Mac OS systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of MacOS and how to integrate into a dominantly windows environment
• Working knowledge of at least one scripting language, ie. PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.

Physical Demands

General Office Environment

Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 15% of the time. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
