The Junior Site/Civil Engineer will be a key member of the Bryant Engineering Team in our Louisville, KY office, where he/she will perform design calculations, analysis and plan preparation and utilizing graphic software in support of the successful completion of assigned projects for a wide range of public and private sector clients.
Job Description
The Junior Site/Civil Engineer will assist Project Manager with the planning and design of assigned projects that meet technical requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
RESPONSIBILITIES: (OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED)
Work on design teams in all aspects of given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans that meet client specs and exceed client expectations
Perform quantity estimates, detailing and check calculations and develop design drawings
Conduct code research and write specifications
Supports Project Manager on other tasks as assigned/needed

Education And/Or Experience
BS in Civil Engineering
1-2 years of experience preferred
Previous experience working in a consulting engineering environment a plus
Successful passing of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (E.I.T.) a plus
Computer Skills
Proficient in AutoCad® Civil 3D®
Proficient in Microstation® and OpenRoads®
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Travel
Travel to job sites and client meetings as required thru out the state.
