IT SAP Program Manager

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking an IT SAP Program Manager who will lead the planning and execution of large-scale deployments that primarily focus on transitioning from an old system to a new system, including integration of acquisitions into the integrated ERP system and process landscape. The ideal candidate will thoroughly manage the scope and schedule of activities, plan comprehensive IT project plans, monitor scope and schedule while managing risks, communicate with stakeholders to ensure compliance, lead a cutover team and directing key project members, triage issues between teams, and escalate critical issues to IT leadership.

Duties:

• Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle and confer with project staff to outline project plans
• Coordinate IT project or program plans with other enterprise plans to ensure a tightly integrated, cross-functional plan to deliver successfully
• Analyze project proposals to determine time frame, funding limitations, and appropriate process for accomplishing projects
• Seek opportunities to optimize the Portfolio Management systems, SAP, Service Now, and Planisware use to manage project plans and financials across the organization
• Build out a playbook for integration of an acquired business and/or roll-out of the SAP integrated solution to existing or new manufacturing facilities, Comans, Co-packers, 3PLs, or distribution centers

Desired Skills/Experience:

• 8 + years of IT Project Management experience with projects of increasing complexity of size and scope
• 3+ years of business-facing experience delivering projects
• Demonstrated experience in coordinating and collaborating in the delivery of multiple projects with other project managers
• Demonstrated competency in a project manager role involving the execution of multiple projects or a large project, preferably in an SAP environment
• Mergers and Acquisition Experience
