As an ICT Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in both the direct support of our users and the strategic implementation and maintenance of our ICT systems and services. Working with the regional ICT team, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality ICT support and services, optimize system performance, and maintain our infrastructure to meet user needs across the region.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Offer first-line and high-quality level 2 ICT support, solving technical issues and facilitating efficient use of our systems and services.
  • Install, configure, and maintain ICT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services, following best practices and compliance standards.
  • Participate in the design, development, and deployment of ICT projects, contributing to the strategic goals of the organization.
  • Manage backups, disaster recovery operations, and security services to protect data and ensure business continuity.
  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with external suppliers to ensure a reliable procurement of essential software and hardware resources.
  • Oversee a comprehensive inventory management system to account for all assets acquired for operational and staff utilization.
  • Facilitate the integration and strategic deployment of new technologies to enhance organizational efficiency and staff productivity.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology trends, security threats, and innovations to advise and implement effective solutions.


General Responsibilities

Essential Skills / Experience / Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related area.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, both spoken and written. Fluency in Portuguese would be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Apple MacOS, Active Directory, and cloud productivity suites (Microsoft 365, G Suite, etc.).
  • Experience with internet routing technologies, virtualization, network infrastructure, and the administration of cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, Azure AD, etc.).
  • Experience working with internationally-based organizations (advantageous).
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology and Systems Administration are an advantage.
