**Job Description: Hotel Sales Manager & Prospector**
We're seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Hotel Sales Manager + Prospector to join our team at a newly renovated boutique hotel in Marshall, CA. Our intimate 45-room property, nestled in the hills overlooking Tomales Bay, offers a unique and charming setting for various events, including weddings, conferences, and retreats. With 8 indoor and outdoor event spaces, we provide the perfect backdrop for memorable occasions.
This remote position is ideal for candidates residing in the San Francisco/Bay Area who are eager to showcase our exceptional hotel and event venue to potential clients.
Key Responsibilities
Actively prospect and develop new business opportunities
Manage and respond to complex incoming inquiries
Identify, qualify, and solicit new accounts to meet revenue goals
Focus on high-potential sales opportunities
Analyze market trends, competition, and economic factors to inform sales strategies
Utilize negotiation skills and creative selling techniques to maximize revenue
Handle sophisticated client requirements and expectations
Sell guest rooms and meeting spaces to groups
Manage and nurture client relationships
Create and present compelling proposals
Maintain organized documentation and reports
Proficiently use sales systems
Coordinate customer service requirements
Participate in event and sales meetings
Qualifications
3-5 years of hotel sales experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in general computer applications
Strong client relationship management abilities
Collaborative mindset to work with operations and events teams
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

Compensation
$80,000 to $90,000 + Bonus
