Description
Currently, FDA is seeking a full-time experienced engineering position in the Tampa office. The successful applicant will have a commitment to customer satisfaction, be personally accountable, self-managed and motivated, able to communicate with others in ways that are clear, considerate, and understandable, place a high emphasis on teamwork, and be goal oriented.
FDA’s engineering team is recognized as one of the preeminent groups in the State of Florida. We are experts in most types of roadway design. Our roadway projects include multi-lane reconstruction and widening for interstates and arterials; intersection improvements including roundabouts; resurfacing, restoration, and rehabilitation (3R), temporary traffic control plans, trails, and sidewalks. If you would like the opportunity to continue your career by working with experienced engineering professionals on wide-ranging roadway engineering projects throughout the State of Florida, then FDA is your firm of choice.
Responsibilities will include producing roadway design and roadway construction plans, 3D modeling, and pavement designs. Opportunities are also available to manage task assignments and marketing of new projects dependent upon experience.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with two to six (2-6) years of experience
Registered Engineer Intern or Professional Engineer in the State of Florida
Written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
Independent decision making with the ability to grow
Experience with Bentley/ORD 3D modeling
