Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role as a Geotechnical Engineer at Mueser Rutledge Consulting Engineers. The Geotechnical Engineer will be responsible for conducting site investigations, analyzing soil samples, and applying geotechnical engineering principles to develop foundation designs. The role will also involve collaborating with team members, performing engineering geological assessments, and providing recommendations for ground improvement and slope stability.
Qualifications
Education and Experience: Master's degree in Civil (focus Geotechnical) Engineering ; Relevant work experience in geotechnical engineering
Site Investigation and Soil Analysis skills
Proficiency in Geotechnical Engineering principles
Knowledge of Engineering Geology
Expertise in Foundation Design
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Strong analytical and technical skills
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team
Experience with Seismic Analysis and Site Classification is a plus
Experience with Instrumentation and Monitoring is a plus
