The Development Manage will play a pivotal role in executing and overseeing fundraising initiatives, grant writing and external relations while enhancing visibility, increasing and generating new sources of revenue, and cultivating meaningful partnerships to help provide sustainable financial support. This role offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and development, allowing the ideal candidate to expand their skills while making a significant impact on alleviating hunger in rural communities.

 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior management, employees, contractors and local teams to ensure goals align
  • Assist in a variety of areas such as conducting due diligence, budgeting and creating timelines
  • Build relationships to generate new avenues for income
  • Review contracts and legal


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business or related field
  • 2 years of experience in nonprofit fund development with supervisory experience
  • Experience executing a year-long development plan including individual, corporate, and foundation fundraising as well as event planning.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
