What You Will Do
Campus Custodian maintains the cleanliness and sanitation of the NatureBridge facilities, with specific focus on the weekly maintenance of the Henness Ridge campus. The position also supports the facilities and food service departments with projects as needed.
This position takes place on our campus in Yosemite National Park and cannot be performed remotely.

What You Will Do

Your Primary Job Will Be To
- Independently perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of campus and facilities.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and notify the Facilities Director when products need to be ordered.
- Recognize and report maintenance needs in and around buildings.
- Perform cyclic cleaning such as window and carpet cleaning.
- Work overtime or weekends as requested by the Facilities Director.
- Help train new staff in safety procedures/storage and use of cleaning supplies.
- Perform vehicle cleaning, yard care, painting, and grounds maintenance.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Attend and participate in shop meetings, and diversity and safety trainings.
- Perform physical tasks such as moving equipment, supplies, and furniture.
- Establish and maintain respectful, supportive and compassionate relationships with staff, volunteers, and participants.
- Perform maintenance projects and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- $20/hour

We are looking for candidates who have:
- One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to work well with other Yosemite NatureBridge staff, National Park Service employees, program participants and the public.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fun, fast-paced environment and maintain a positive, flexible attitude.
- Values promptness, able to meet deadlines, and enjoys working independently as well as collaboratively.
- Excellent judgment and safety consciousness.
- Current driver’s license and clear driving record required.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule that will at times include week days, weekends, and flexible hours.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion in the workplace.
