Automotive Sales Manager

Job Summary:

The Automotive Sales Manager at Guntersville Chevrolet is responsible for managing a team of automotive sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets at our dealership in Guntersville, Alabama. This is an individual contributor role, reporting directly to the General Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the automotive industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving sales and providing exceptional customer service.

Compensation & Benefits:

This is a full-time, commission position with competitive compensation and benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, and paid time off.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers throughout sales process early & often
• Train, manage, and motivate a team of automotive sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales goals
• Lead by example by personally achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market share
• Ensure exceptional customer service is provided to all clients
• Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
• Work with the General Sales Manager to forecast and develop annual sales goals and budgets
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market changes
  
  
  

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive sales, with management experience.
• Knowledge of automotive sales best practices and techniques
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends (closed Sundays)
