Job Summary:
Works directly with Warehouse Manager as well as team members from all warehouse departments. Assist in all daily warehouse activities as well as perform all functions of the Warehouse Manager during their absence.
Duties / Responsibilities
Prioritize customer orders
Facilitate pulling orders for shipping tables
Fulfill customer orders
Verify accuracy of completed orders
Resolve shipping issues
Ability to prepare truck shipments – label, stack, wrap, band skids
Ship freight using LTL truck lines
Unload and load trucks
Operate a lift truck safely
Redirect employees’ tasks
Train employees
Required Skills / Abilities
Strong interpersonal skills to work with members in warehouse as well as all departments of the company
Provide insight for task/process improvements
Participate in warehouse leadership
Maintain professional demeanor when navigating issues with team members
Strong attention to detail while performing daily tasks
Quick understanding of AS400/OnBase computer software
