BendPak Inc. has received a Sourcewell contract number to provide cooperative purchasing of its vehicle lifts and other garage and fleet maintenance equipment to public agencies across North America. According to BendPak, it secured the contract following a request for proposal (RFP) process designed to ensure compliance with local procurement requirements. Sourcewell combines the buying power of more than 50,000 participating agencies to save purchasing entities time and money. By streamlining procurement with pre-negotiated, competitive contracts, Sourcewell helps government, education and nonprofit organizations secure cost-effective and efficient purchasing solutions. Sourcewell manages the solicitation requirements and offers members access to an established network of contracts awarded to suppliers. “Sourcewell’s positive evaluation of our bid cited several pluses, including our extensive range of lifts, shop equipment and accessories backed by an expansive sales, installation and service network across the U.S. and Canada. We are excited to share a recent contract with Sourcewell - a cooperative purchasing entity. Cooperative purchasing is “Procurement conducted by, or on behalf of, one or more Public Procurement Units” as defined by the American Bar Association Model Procurement Code for State and Local Governments. Sourcewell contract 012524-TRP gives cities, utilities, school districts, and state agencies access to directly work with TruePani without additional procurement, saving time and resources.
