Staff from the Ocean Vicinage recently participated in the annual family services outreach day organized by the community agency Ocean Inc. Attendees at the event connected with various resources and programs. Administrative Specialists Stephanie Castaneda and Christian Palacios from the Office of the Ombudsman answered court related questions and provided information about career opportunities within the Judiciary.

Tables at the events included information about criminal justice reform, careers with the judiciary, language access, jury service, and the JOBS program. The juvenile supervision unit of the Union Vicinage’s Probation Division on Friday celebrated the educational accomplishments of the teens who are under supervision. Superior Court Judge James P. Wilson, the family division’s juvenile team, and Assignment Judge Lisa Miralles Walsh congratulated the teens during the graduation ceremony.
