Does your brand emulate or imitate? I found this article and it got me thinking...https://lnkd.in/gDr3_nYP As a marketer in the nonprofit space, I am so lucky to have found community amongst other wonderful organizations. We say it takes a village to do what we do, and that doesn't just mean our coworkers! For example, I personally find inspiration from Know Your Lemons Foundation, another breast cancer charity totally nailing its branding and social media. Their content inspires me to be creative. But, our brands are incredibly different! I'd love for The Pink Fund's brand to emulate the power, creativity and brand equity they have developed. Since we're all online all the time, it's easy to spot imitation amongst various industries and brands. For the past five years, I've been dedicated to teaching research in marketing to various MSc programmes and be spoke executive classes. This journey led me to attend the '23rd European Conference on Research Methodology for Business and Management Studies' in Porto, Portugal, where I aimed to deepen my knowledge and exchange ideas with fellow educators and researchers. Our collaborative project with Know Your Lemons Foundation, Dr Corrine Ellsworth-Beaumont and Irene Benson, part of the MSc International Marketing program at King's Business School, King's College London achieved significant recognition. It was shortlisted for the 'Innovation in Teaching of Research Methodology Excellence Awards' and published in the 'Innovation in Teaching of Research Methodology Excellence Awards: An Anthology of Case Histories 2024'.  🥇To top it all off, it won the 1st place in the 'Innovation in Teaching of Research Methodology Excellence Award' competition! 🥇 This recognition highlights the international impact of our educational work and reinforces the mission of the MSc International Marketing program. It also showcases the exceptional quality of our students who have dedicated themselves to such an important cause. A big shoutout to all students involved in this project - well done, you! 😊 The conference was a hub of innovation and inspiration. Highlights included: - Marta Agostinho's Keynote Talk on DORA Principles: Providing insights into responsible research conduct. -Prof. Susanne Tietze's Talk on Translation and Linguistic Reflexivity: Exploring the depth of language in research. - Martin Rich's Emphasis on Employability Skills: Highlighting their importance in teaching research methods. - Prof. Dr. Sophie Hieke's Application of PAIR’s Framework (created by my esteemed colleague Oguz A.
