Some members of our Rochester office enjoyed a day on the course last week at the 2024 American Society of Plumbing Engineers Rochester Chapter Golf Tournament, held at Victor Hills Golf Course in Victor, NY. We are proud to support the Rochester, NY chapter and appreciate the opportunity to sponsor a hole at the tournament!

Last week, our IBC Buffalo office participated in the 42nd annual J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge at Delaware Park. This event, a tradition for the region's workforce since 1982, attracted over 7,000 participants from around 230 companies for the 3.5-mile road race, celebrating full-time employees in the Buffalo area. Congratulations to all our finishers! #JPMCC

We are proud to support the Buffalo, NY chapter and grateful for the opportunity to sponsor a hole at the tournament!

Here at IBC, we take pride in our mission of sustainability, infusing it into each and every project to foster a positive impact both on the environment and for our clients. World Environment Day was established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1972 during the Stockholm Conference on the Human Environment. Celebrated in more than 100 countries, this day provides an opportunity for individuals and organizations to take concrete actions to protect the environment. This year's theme for World Environment Day is "The Journey to a Greener Future." Today and every day, we strive to create a better future for the environment through sustainable design and innovative solutions.

We were proud to sponsor and participate in the 2024 Rochester Chapter of ASHRAE annual golf tournament at the Ravenwood Golf Club in Victor, NY. Proceeds from this outing support the local Chapter by raising funds for additional training opportunities and support resources. We appreciate all that ASHRAE does for the Rochester Engineering Community. It was a great day on the course, filled with plenty of networking, sun and fun.

Last week, IBC participated in the 32nd annual J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge in downtown Rochester. This event, a tradition for the region's workforce since 1991, drew over 4,000 participants from about 200 companies for the 3.5-mile road race. Congratulations to all of our finishers! As the race moves to Buffalo next, we eagerly anticipate the participation of our Buffalo office runners representing IBC. #JPMCC

On this Memorial Day and throughout May for Military Appreciation Month, we stand united in remembrance, honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage and selflessness will never be forgotten. For those who did not make it home, we may not know them all, but we owe them all.

IBC was honored to attend the ACEC New York Annual Engineering Excellence Awards Gala. We are thrilled to announce that we were awarded a 2024 Diamond Award for the North Syracuse CSD - KWS Bear Road Elementary project and a 2024 Platinum Award for the Guthrie Medical Group - Ithaca City Harbor Medical Office Building project. The ACEC Engineering Excellence Awards highlight projects that exemplify innovation, sustainability, and exceptional quality. Receiving both of these awards is a testament to the exceptional talent, expertise, and passion of our entire IBC team. We congratulate all of the finalists and winners of this year's ACEC NY Engineering Excellence Awards for their achievements.
