Our very first virtual Capital Access Program workshop was a success! Our Department has decided to schedule another one. On 📅 Tuesday, July 16 at 10 am, Norfolk Development will be hosting a 2nd online workshop where Norfolk business owners can become eligible for a Capital Access Program Grant. The Capital Access Grant portal opens Thursday, July 18th at 8:00am! Tomorrow, Tuesday, July 9th kicks off the first set of eight available workshops, one at 10:00am and another at 6:00pm. Workshops are mandatory for all Norfolk businesses interested in applying. *Note, we have added two virtual workshops for those who may not be able to attend in person. The City of Norfolk, in collaboration with the Virginia Department of Veteran Services, is organizing a VA Claims Clinic dedicated to aiding veterans in comprehending and managing the benefits filing procedure. This joint endeavor engages local Veteran Service Organizations, including the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and representatives from the Department of Veterans Affairs.
