Memorialization work is more than a plaque on a site and requires uncomfortable conversations in mixed settings. This work is tremendously important in telling a fuller history and helping people engage with our collective past. In this week's episode, Burt Pinnock, FAIA, NOMA of Baskervill shares his insights and highlights of "thousands of people doing really hard work for decades". #Preservation #SlaveMemorials #Architecture #Shockoe #Legacy #JXNProject Photo credits: Baskervill https://lnkd.in/gUSkEMiP

Taking cues from the neighboring Eureka Springs Park, the renovation of the Sheraton Tampa Brandon embraces the call of nature by emphasizing a serene atmosphere. Channeling the park’s lush energy, the design dances between airy elegance and refined ingenuity, seamlessly translating the botanical materials, hues, and textures of the outdoors into the detail-driven interiors. Breathe it all in: https://lnkd.in/eB8BUrJt
