Creating a thriving home in space that benefits every human, everywhere.
About us
Axiom exists to create a thriving home in space that benefits every human, everywhere. The International Space Station's life is finite, and the world will soon be in need of a new space station. Axiom, whose leadership has been involved in every ISS mission since the program's inception, is taking on this challenge by supporting expanded utilization of the ISS today while creating the first international commercial space station to later host government astronauts, private companies, and individual explorers alike. Our low-cost Low Earth Orbit platform access and decades of human spaceflight management experience support the research, testing of exploration-enabling technologies, and in-space manufacturing that will create new opportunities for advanced industries, governments, and educators and enable future human space exploration. Our Summer 2025 Internship Applications are now open. Curious about how the experience can impact your future? Learn more from former Axiom Space intern Aanchal Chaudhary. #TeamAxiom. Inspired by the launch of Ax-1, Chaudhary decided to apply to Axiom Space's internship program. As an intern, Chaudhary supported Thermal Analysis with the Power, Avionics, and Control Team. "I had some super supportive mentors on my team. They made me feel like I belonged and that my work mattered." Axiom Space interns have multiple opportunities for networking and career growth, some of Chaudhary's favorite memories include meeting astronauts and participating in after-hours activities with her internship cohort. After her internship, Chaudhary easily transitioned from an intern to an employee, which she attributes to the dedication of Axiom Space's Intern Team. "They were committed to gaining insight into our talents and connecting us to experiences and people that would help us further our passion and career goals." As an Associate Engineer in Crew Systems, Chaudhary spends most of her time conducting lighting analysis of Axiom Station's Hab-1, using many of the skills she learned and developed as an intern. When asked what she enjoys the most at Axiom Space, Chaudhary says it's the people. "My manager and team are what make this work so rewarding. Every day is something new, and that's what keeps me excited. It's easy coming to work every day because it doesn't feel like just a job; this is part of my life."
