    Director of Global Logistics // Business Operations Management

    Alwood's Monterrey office is looking for a Logistics Associate to join its operations team to coordinate shipments between Alwood’s factory partners and its customers across North America. The Logistics Associate will reinforce, improve and coordinate the following responsibilities: // Order management; verifying PO's with global suppliers and managing production timelines overseas. // Coordinating logistics from supplier factories in Latin America, EMEA, and Asia to customer locations in the US, Canada, and MX. // Negotiating freight costs and seeking alternative routes with current providers. // Managing production timelines to ensure that orders are produced, shipped and delivered on-time. // Scheduling and coordinating containers from suppliers and deliveries to customers, ensuring a highly satisfactory customer experience throughout the entire operation. // Administrative responsibilities including data entry, invoice verification, and some financial management under the supervision of the Logistics Director. Skill Requirements: // Full professional fluency in English and Spanish required. // Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple logistics operations and its timelines. // 2-3 years experienced (at least) in logistics and supply chain operations, management in international shipping strongly preferred. // Problem solving - mind oriented for solutions to possible issues during operations. // Proactivity and decision maker to ensure smooth deliveries for multiple customers. // Customer service oriented with strong attention to details. // Competency in ERP tools. // Comprehensive understanding about collaboration as a team player and capable to adapt to changing market dynamics. This role will be a primarily in-office role with some flexibility for work from home available.
