Please join us in welcoming John Newnan to the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games, where he will serve as the official Torch Run Manager for the Law Enforcement Torch Run, Final Leg. As Torch Run Manager, John will lead all planning efforts for the design and execution of what will be a multi-city tour and the orchestration of hundreds of “guardians of the flame” officers–culminating at the Opening Ceremony and the commencement of the USA Games on June 20, 2026. John has been instrumental in the planning, organization, and execution of every international Final Leg Torch Run event since 2001, as well as the Final Leg events for every USA Games since 2006, including the recent 2022 USA Games in Orlando. With 18 years of esteemed service on the International Law Enforcement Torch Run Council, John held key positions such as Region II Coordinator and Final Leg Planning Committee Chair. #2026USAGames #CallingAllChampions #InclusionRevolution
