⚽ Could comparisons between men and women's sport mean we lose sight of the bigger picture? ⚽ England men succeeded in reaching the final of the last two consecutive UEFA Football European Championships. Meanwhile, the Lionesses reached the World Cup final last year, and went all the way to win the Euros in 2022. After Sunday's performance by the Three Lions, there will no doubt be comparisons drawn between the two sides, their managers and the state of play for men and women's football in England. However: Senior Account Manager Sophie Marsh tells The Drum why such comparisons lose sight of the bigger picture, and why we must protect the unique opportunities presented by both men and women's sport. https://hubs.ly/Q02GJFgg0

Decades of brand creation experience - young at heart. Consultant. Coach. Lecturer. Mentor. Collaborator.
Lovely presentation and group discussion at The Drum Labs this morning. Phil Jones organised a lovely Podge Events breakfast - bacon sarnies of course - seminar. Tom Banks presenting a great new strategic design direction for the publication and Sophie Thomas and Emma Follett, of Design Bridge, with an insightful chat about sustainability, AI as a smart creative tool being put to good use and the changing mood of businesses, and clients, with political stability in the UK (but definitely not in the US!) #insight #networking #peers #design
