Linde and Heidelberg Materials broke ground on one of the world's first large-scale carbon dioxide capture and liquefaction facilities in the cement industry. The plant in Lengfurt, Germany, is being planned and built by Linde Engineering. This project will not only help Heidelberg Materials significantly reduce carbon emissions, but the captured CO2 will be purified and utilized in both the chemical and food and beverage industries. #decarbonization #cement #carbondioxide #foodandbeverageindustry #LindeIsEverywhere
