We're excited to share our collaboration with TDK, where we integrated our iSentek IST-8306 sensor into their new 9-axis motion detection solutions, the DK-42688P-9x and DK-42670P-9x. These 9-axis sensor solutions comprise our 3-axis magnetometer, the IST8306 high-precision hall sensor, and a high-performance 6-axis motion sensor, ICM-42688-P/ICM-42670-P. The development platforms are user-friendly and packed with tools like the InvenSense Motion Link and embedded motion drivers to help developers easily visualize and adjust the sensor data. In contrast to prevalent joystick designs employing 2-3 sensors for 3-axis detection, IST8309 emerges as a singular, efficient solution. The implementation of a single chip obviates the necessity for multiple sensors, thereby simplifying the architecture significantly. Furthermore, the IST8309 includes an interrupt pin, which opens up possibilities beyond the standard. This functionality allows it to be used as a smart switch, opening up the potential for integration into many systems that require interrupt-based control.
