Averyl D., Kapithaan Pathmanathan and Ibikunle Olatunji, CFA from the Alectra GRE&T Centre spent last Saturday morning at the Burnhamthorpe Community Centre, engaging with the community as part of Alectra's initiative to support City of Mississauga's vision for the electrification of transportation. Community Electric Vehicle Day provided a great opportunity for EV enthusiasts to explore some of the city’s electric fleet vehicles, participate in micromobility demonstrations, and discover actionable steps to make Mississauga more sustainable and resilient to climate change. Alectra's electric bucket truck piqued a lot of interest and curiosity among attendees too. We are proud to be #enablingemobility and #helpingpowerabettertomorrow. #InnovationAtAlectra

A huge thank you to everyone who walked on Wednesday, June 12 in support of YWCA Hamilton’s Walk a Mile in Their Shoes. We had more than 122 employees from 7 different locations join forces to raise critical funds and awareness to end gender-based violence. This year, we won the award for the largest team and boosted our fundraising efforts, contributing $10,000 to provide support, advocacy and services to women, girls and gender-diverse individuals experiencing violence. Together, we’re making a difference. #alectraCARES
