Space Force is rolling out with their plan for commercial partnerships supporting crisis/conflict (e.g. Starlink/Starshield DoD application): Commercial Augmentation Space Reserve (CASR). This framework allows for increased flexibility in contracting, scalability, and requirements for companies signed with CASR to prioritize U.S. Government operations over their commercial operations in times of conflict. This is a major step in defining Government/Industry functional partnerships in the fight for information superiority.
The strategy outlines a framework for how the Space Force will scale up its use of commercial capabilities during a crisis or conflict.

The space industry began to develop after World War II, as rockets and then satellites entered into military arsenals, and later found civilian applications. It retains significant ties to the government. In particular, the launch industry features a significant government involvement, with some launch platforms (like the Space Shuttle) being operated by governments. The Big CISO Shoot or TBCS as it’s now known internally 😅 is almost upon us. 3 things you should know: 1. It’s on Thursday 9th May. 2. Yes, it is an actual shoot (clay) so you should probably dress appropriately. See my AI generated ‘CISO’s on a shoot’ image for fashion tips. And no you can’t attend remotely. 3. The instructors and bloody expensive and so if you’re like me and have never fired a weapon before, come and keep them busy. If you don’t leave with a few ideas on how to improve your security programme atleast you’ll know how to defend yourself during the inevitable zombie apocalypse. 3. Along with the lightning talks we also have Ian Murphy compering the day with some stand-up to follow. He’s not known for pulling his punches with hecklers so do so at your peril. We only have a few spaces left so if I’ve persuaded you get to the link (in the comments) and get signed up.
The countdown is on! Register your space today to join us on the 9th May 👇 https://lnkd.in/eNUcHWy9 Exabeam Cribl Ben Armstrong Thomas Ballin
